    Joey Ledford, the former Lane Ranger for the AJC, is a trusted source. He says “Believe it’s a few more years before the Ga. 400 debt is paid off — though the DOT could have refinanced it several years ago and made it go away by now. I think we should stick to the original deal, and the tollbooth should come down the day it’s supposed to come down.”

    Do you propose a schedule for tearing it down, John?

    Yes, right away! The state has collected over 15M more than it needs to pay off the debt.
