120Politics.com focuses on Georgia Politics, but specifically in the North-Metro Atlanta area from Marietta to Roswell on the Hwy 120 Corridor. The author (me) is Greg Hoffman, a former political reporter with the Marietta Daily Journal and the Atlanta Journal Constitution. After leaving newspapers, I entered the world of Public Relations and Marketing and served as a legislative consultant to large organizations in Cobb County. For the last five years, I have served as an internet marketing consultant to dozens of e-commerce companies throughout the U.S.

It’s been a few years since I was in contact with legislators and political pundits from Cobb, Douglas, Paulding, Cherokee, Fulton and Gwinnett counties. But now I’m back and 120Politics is my way of getting involved again, but this time as a citizen journalist with my own opinion and rules.  If you notice I lean to the right, you are correct. I won’t preach or editorialize too much. I just want to make sure the conservative message is delivered properly online.

120Politics will mostly cover Georgia legislative and statewide topics and issues. You may see press releases here from campaigns or propaganda from various groups, but they are not endorsements from me or guest authors. I want to be objectively partisan and give all conservative ideas a chance. If I endorse a candidate, it will be clear.
